Imagine Your Story ~ Summer Reading Fun! Complete grade-level activity challenges which include super fun stories, games, and activities then submit at least ten to total 100 points. After completing, click "I Finished 100 Points" to submit. In September you will receive a "Congratulatory Certificate" from your school principal! To continue the fun, one of our challenges is a link so you can also sign up for the South Huntington Public Library's summer reading program.

At last evening’s Board of Education meeting, Mr. Nicholas Ciappetta was re-elected as the Board of Education President, and Mrs. Laura Carey was re-elected as the Board of Education Vice President, both for the 2020/2021 school year. Attached you will find the listing of 2020/2021 Board members and Cabinet members.
The Huntington Anti- Bias Task Force is seeking donations large and small to help fund the production costs of lawn signs with the image below that will be distributed to places of worship, schools, parks, and private homes. Donations from individuals or organizations are welcome.

The viewing for this year's Video Yearbook will take place for the first time this July 17th!
After concluding our virtual ceremony, we want to finalize our plans for a physical graduation ceremony. Following the New York State protocols and procedures for a graduation ceremony, we have created a plan that will allow our students to be able to experience a live ceremony on the Walt Whitman High School athletic field.
