The 2025 Mercy Benefit Concert at Walt Whitman High School

The 29th Annual Mercy Benefit Concert was hosted by Xanadu and The Collective at Walt Whitman High School on June 13th, showcasing our district’s talented musicians and artists all for a good cause. This year, the over $3,000 raised will go to Helping Hand Rescue Mission, a local organization that supports the food insecure of Huntington Station.
The annual concert was held ‘Live on the Lawn’ outside of Whitman’s South Cafeteria with a line up featuring music by our students and staff. Each act brought a unique energy to the stage. From original music and covers, to creative handwritten poetry, the night offered something for everyone to enjoy. Year after year, this event truly showcases the creative talent and originality of those who take to the stage.
Xanadu’s mantra, “Creation is Activism,” remains true and is proved through events such as these, where the talent and compassion of our students benefits those who need it most. Thank you to all of the musicians, poets, and performers who put on an incredible show!
