To provide parents and students the ability to “disconnect” from the constant engagement of digital technology, as well as the stresses of school work, South Huntington School District will be holding our Device-Free/Family-Connect Night tonight, November 10, 2025. The goal of these nights is to provide a needed break from the constant pull of school related technology, giving everyone an opportunity to bond with their families and friends.

We are asking that our students avoid using devices on these nights, allowing families to spend valuable time together. As a district, we will support these “Device-Free/Family-Connect” nights. 

It is our hope that by participating in these nights, both students and parents get an opportunity to re-engage in family activities designed to allow our student’s minds to rest and recharge.
