Congratulations to Walt Whitman Principal, Dr. John Murphy for being unanimously selected by the Huntington Hispanic Advisory Task Force (HHATF) as the recipient of the Community Award for the 31st Huntington Hispanic Heritage Celebration. The annual Town of Huntington event is being held at the PAC at Walt Whitman High School on Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00 PM as part of the National Hispanic Heritage Month which runs from September 15th to October 15th.  Dr. Murphy is being honored for his “outstanding leadership and dedication to WWHS, its students, staff and the Huntington community in general.”  Once again, congratulations Dr. Murphy!
