The 2024 Long Island Latino Teachers Association (LILTA) Women’s Conference was a huge success as 21 students from Walt Whitman’s ENL and Project Excel programs participated. The girls had a worthwhile experience as they were engaged with other students and representatives at the conference at Stony Brook University. Some girls set up appointments with the admissions representatives from SCCC and personally asked questions to various professionals in attendance. Great job, ladies!
