Whitman Wins Inaugural

Flag Football Game

Whitman's Girls Flag Football team won 44-0 over Amityville on Wednesday night in the first ever Flag Football game in school history!  Kate Hoffman threw two touchdown passes to Ashley Magee and Lizzie Schreiber to open the scoring. Then Lizzie added a rushing touchdown. Gianna Paul had a record breaking 79-yard rushing touchdown and a huge interception on defense. Jenna Cullen, Ava Seifert, Judy Anest, and Kasey Wagner ran the ball great in the second half for 3 more touch downs.  Brianna Barthold, Carly McEntee, and Mary Pohalski had huge tackles on defense.  Awesome job by the whole team!  Come out and support the team on Saturday, on the Turf at 3pm vs. Sachem North!
