Swim Team Contributes to

Swim Across America

The Varsity Swim Team participated in the 7th annual Swim Across America fundraiser to raise over $3,000 for the fight against cancer.

The Varsity Swim Team recently participated in Swim Across America, an organization whose mission is to fund cancer research, clinical trials, and patient programs by hosting charity swims. We are proud to acknowledge our Varsity Swim Team who graciously participated in this year’s fundraising to contribute to the SAA mission. The combined team is made up of high school and middle school swimmers from Harborfields, Huntington High School, Finley Middle School, Walt Whitman High School and Stimson Middle School. The girls enjoyed participating in the 7th annual Swim Across America fundraiser and did a great job helping to raise over $3,000 for the fight against cancer. At the October 13th Huntington Town Hall meeting, swimmers from the HUSH team were recognized by local dignitaries for their support in this cause.

Girls Varsity Swim Coach, Rufus Shepard, congratulates his Whitman and Stimson Middle School swimmers at Huntington Town Hall.
