Congratulations JV Girls Lacrosse:  The Team won its first game of the season against a tough Sachem East team.  This win would not have been possible without amazing goal-tending by Angelina Todaro.  Courtney MagGee, Dani Probst, and Noelle Decker all found the back of the net while controlling the midfield.  J.J Boccia and Katelyn Adams also scored helping the Wildcats secure the 7-5 win.

Girls Varsity Softball: Despite a tough loss against Lindenhurst on Thursday, the girls were grateful to open up their season on their new home field at Memorial. Put in place last winter, this is the first season that the team will be able to utilize the new field in lieu of the softball field previously played on at Central Field. While Varsity is on the road this weekend, JV will face Bayshore at home on Saturday at 4PM. Be sure to support the softball teams this coming Tuesday, May 11th, when you dine at Chipotle! Between 4:00-8:00PM, tell the cashier you’re supporting the Walt Whitman High School Softball team to ensure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to the program.
