Congratulations Varsity Football:  ...On an exciting 16-14 win over Sachem North on Saturday! Rasahn Thompson’s interception in the end zone as time expired sealed the win for the Wildcats. It was Thompson’s 2nd interception of the game and he led the defense along with Jeremiah St. Croix, Sean Bock, Diego Romero, and Steven Lainez Gomez. Nicholas Bottoni accounted for both Whitman touchdowns, one rushing and one passing on a nice catch and run by Kyle Owens. Josh Arevalo kicked an impressive 40-yard field goal that ended up being the winning points. Good luck to the team as they take on Lindenhurst on Sunday!

Congratulations Girls Varsity Volleyball:  The Team came from being down 2 games to 1 to defeat the undefeated and defending State Champion Connetquot, 3 games to 2.  The team played incredible defense led by Maggie Neiland’s 32 digs and Jenna Stockfeder's 7 blocks.  Jenna also added 9 kills, while Caroline Phillips had 16 kills and Annabelle Novinski had 34 assists.  Unbelievable game by the entire team!

Congratulations Varsity Golf:  The Team earned another victory yesterday, beating Hills West 9-0.  Colin Murphy, Jonathon Holleran, Riley Wagner, Julia Posillico, Owen Connely, and Kyle Dickson all earned match points for their performances. The Wildcats collectively beat the Colts by 25 strokes giving them 3 more team points.  The Team will travel to the Huntington Crescent Club on Tuesday to compete against cross-town rival, the Blue Devils.  Good luck Wildcats!

Congratulations Boys Cross Country: On Monday, the Team defeated Connetquot 34-25.  Leading the Wildcats was Carlos Alfaro with a time of 15 minutes and 21 seconds on the Sunken Meadow 2.5 mile course.  Rounding out the top 5 finishers for Whitman were Ryan Hill, Ryan Hansen, Jacob Veeder, and Kyle Lutz.  Congratulations!

The Wildcats were led by senior Carlos Alfaro on the 2.5-mile course at Sunken Meadow State Park on Monday.

Congratulations Varsity Gymnastics:  The Team had a great win over the break against Copiague. The girls are having an awesome season with a 2-1 record. They look forward to an away meet today (Tuesday) and their Senior meet at home on Thursday. Coach is very proud of all the team members!
