This year, the South Huntington School District has begun a new tradition to allow our community to acknowledge and proudly celebrate the Class of 2022. This new tradition  provides an opportunity for parents and peers to come and see our “Senior Salute Gallery,”  lining the front of Walt Whitman High School on West Hills Road.  Our community will be able to see the smiling faces of our seniors, giving a warm welcome to the school that has become their home for the last four years. As graduation quickly approaches, we wish to congratulate Whitman’s Seniors in this way to remind them that as they embark on the next chapter of their lives, Whitman will always be a place to call home and that they will always be Wildcats. It is our sincere hope that our seniors fondly reflect on their time spent at Walt Whitman and use all that they’ve learned to grow and find future successes in all aspects of their lives. Again, congratulations to the Class of 2022 and remember…. Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat!
