The Varsity Football team clinched its 1st League title since 1984 with a huge 35-14 win over Lindenhurst on Sunday! Nicholas Bottoni connected with Brandon Ivy for 2 long touchdown passes to lead the offense. Bottoni, AJ Evans, and Tim Hunter each added rushing touchdowns. Ivy had 2 interceptions and Hunter 1 for Whitman’s swarming defense that was led by Diego Romero, Rasahn Thompson, Liam Villanti, Sean Bock, Jeremyah St. Croix and Jakub Pipota. Jakub forced and recovered a fumble on Lindy’s first play of the game. Josh Arevalo went a perfect 5 for 5 on extra points. The Team will host their first home playoff game in almost 40 years as they take on Longwood Saturday. Great job by all!
The Boys Varsity Soccer Team ended the regular season with a 4-0 victory over Pat-Med. Richard Morel scored 2 first half goals. The prettiest goal of the day was a Wilmer Flores cross to Dylan Thody who converted the header for the 3rd goal. Juan Chamorro finished the scoring for the Wildcats. Josh Arevalo and Victor Vilorio chipped in with assists. Liam Weigele, Franklin Fuentes, and Josh Fitzpatrick combined to make 4 saves to preserve the shutout. The Wildcats' record is 8-4 heading into the 1st round of the playoffs at home on Friday at 5pm against Lindenhurst.
Girls Varsity Volleyball defeated Smithtown East 3 games to 0 last Friday and defeated Half Hollow Hills East 3 games to 0 on Sunday. The Team moved to 10-4 with the 2 victories this weekend. Great job by the entire team!
Boys Varsity Volleyball beat East Islip on Sunday by a score of 3-0. Leading the way were team captains Tom Biryla and Alex Glatzle. Alex had 40 assists, 1 kill, 4 digs, and 1 block and Tom added 23 kills, 7 digs, and 1 ace in the decisive victory.
Congratulations Girls Varsity Volleyball: The Team defeated Hills East 3 games to 0 on Senior Night last night. Seniors Madonna Getchell, Maggie Neiland, Annabelle Novinski, Caroline Phillips, and Jenna Stockfeder have done an amazing job for the program over the past 4 years. Congratulations to them and the whole team on the victory!
JV Field Hockey played a competitive game against Ward Melville on Monday, all while seizing the opportunity to support a worthy cause. Girls Swim Diver Venus Stewart placed 16th overall at Tuesday’s League Diving Championship falling 9 points shy of qualifying for Counties. We wish Venus good luck as she prepares for the League Championship Meet in the 100-yard freestyle.
The Boys Varsity Volleyball Team beat Center Moriches Tuesday night by a score of 3 sets to 1. Liam Murphy put on a stellar performance with 8 digs, 1 ace, 1 assist, and 1 kill. Adam Tabibzada returned to the lineup and contributed 13 assists and 7 digs.

Congratulations Varsity Gymnastics: The Team finished its last League meet of the season putting 100% in and scoring their 2nd highest score of the season. Carly McEntee scored her second 9.3 of the season and did well on her other 3 events. Danielle DeGaray had a great last season competing all-around in almost every meet. Brianna Scala, Sanai Browne, Alexa Toledo, and Shannyn Cory achieved many personal goals over their years on the Team. Amazing season... great job Lady Wildcats!

Congratulations Whitman Golf: Some expert advice given by Mr. Callahan may have been the edge that helped the Wildcats capture another impressive victory on Wednesday against Half Hollow Hills East. Jonathon Holleran, Owen Connolly, and Kyle Dickson all earned match points for the Wildcats. Golfers Colin Murphy, Julia Posillico, and Riley Wagner helped the Wildcats pick up the 3 points awarded to the team with the lowest overall score. Owen Connolly beat his opponent by 14 strokes. The Whitman golfers are having a historic season. Congratulations!
Congratulations Girls Varsity Swimming: The Team finished 5th overall at League 1 Championship! Bianca Santaromana swam 2 personal bests in the 100 and 200 Freestyle. Emily Teplansky swam a personal best in the 500 Freestyle. Isabella Alvear swam the 100 backstroke, Aby Velasquez the 50 Freestyle, and Venus Stewart the 100 Freestyle.

The Team was led by Mia Stampfel's 15 digs and 3 aces and Caroline Phillips's 15 kills. Annabelle Novinski added 27 assists. Great job by the entire team and good luck in the playoffs!
Congratulations Varsity Field Hockey: Mia Brunetti had 2 goals with assists from Kate McAuley and Kasey McArdle to lead Whitman on Wednesday in a 3 – 0 win versus Hills. Charlotte O’Hara also added a goal with an assist from Morgan Fulcher. Jillian Vesque had 6 saves in the win to help secure the shutout. The win gave Whitman a spot in the playoffs on Friday. Congratulations ladies!
Congratulations Girls Cross Country: Senior Grace Weigele and Sophomore Emma Kowalczyk competed in the Suffolk County Divisional Meet at Sunken Meadow Wednesday! Grace ran the 2.5 mile course in an amazingly fast personal best and Emma ran the course in a very impressive personal best! Excellent job by both! The Team and Coach Kazandjian are very proud of your efforts and accomplishments!

Congratulations Girls JV Volleyball: The Team finished the season with a record of 12-4. Emma Creighton and Katelyn Adams each had 6 kills. Lorianna Matuttat and Sophia Swanson were dominant at the net with 6 blocks and 7 kills. Riley McDonnell and Megan Rankel racked up a combined 18 assists. Dani Probst and Juliet Boccia played great defense and Anatasia Novinski served the Team to victory with 8 consecutive aces to close out the 3rd set. Congratulations on an amazing season!
