Congratulations Varsity Football:  ...on the Team’s exciting 28-25 win over Ward Melville on Saturday.  Chris Silverio caught the game-winning 42-yard touchdown pass from Nicholas Bottoni with 16 seconds left.  Brandon Ivy had an offensive and defensive touchdown and Kyle Owens added a 73-yard touchdown catch.  The defense was solid all day led by Seniors Joe Robert, Sean Bock, Jeremyah St.Croix, and Dan Smith, and Juniors Liam Villanti and Rashan Thompson.  Senior Kicker Josh Arevalo went 4 for 4 on extra points.

Junior Chris Silverio caught a 42-yard pass from Nick Bottoni with 16 seconds left to give the team the lead and finish the game 28-25.

Congratulations Girls Cross Country:  On the Team’s win against Lindenhurst Thursday, at Belmont State Park.  Despite the rain, the Team was able to put together a collective and inspired effort that garnered their 1st win of the young season.  Senior Grace Weigele (1st overall) ran the 5K course in a blistering 19:32 while sophomore Emma Kowalczyk came in 2nd with an excellent time of 22:02.  Coach Kazandjian is very proud of the entire team and continues to have great expectations for the remainder of the season.  Great job girls!

Congratulations Boys Varsity Soccer: On the Team's Saturday win against Longwood 4-1. Dylan Thody and Peter Humann brought Whitman in the lead early on with the first two goals of the game. Rich Morel took the team into the half up by 3 while Kevin Romero scored the 4th goal of the game to give the Wildcats the 4-1 win.


Congratulations Varsity Golf Team:  ...on an impressive and dominant 8-1 win against rival Huntington. Sophomore Colin Murphy shot the low score on the day and paved the way for the Team's win. Seniors Julia Posilico, Kyle Dickson, and Riley Wagner set the tone early, swinging their way to victory, each earning match points for the Wildcats.  Junior Owen Connely beat his opponent by 33 strokes. Junior Jonathan Holleran putted his way into the number 2 spot going plus seven in his match.  Way to go Wildcats - Good Luck this season!

Congratulations Boys Varsity Soccer: The Team upended Bay Shore by the score of 6-2.  Richard Morel scored 4 goals in the first 20 minutes.  Angel Catalan recorded a goal and an assist.  Josh Arevalo chipped in with a goal, Victor Vilorio had 2 assists, and Andres Valencia added an assist.  Franklin Fuentes, Liam Weigele, and Josh Fitzpatrick combined for 7 saves.  The Wildcats' record is now 3-1.

Congratulations Boys Cross Country: On Tuesday the Team defeated Hills East by a score of  43-20. Leading the Wildcats was sophomore Ryan Hill with a time of 14:46 on the 2.6 mile course. Rounding out the top 5 runners for Whitman were Mike Coppolla, Carlos Alfaro, Sam Nunez, and Jacob Veeder.  Congratulations!

Congratulations Girls Swimming: While the Girls Swim Team lost to Hills West 94 to 81, Emily Teplansky won the 100m Freestyle. Venus Stewart placed 2nd in diving. Bianca Santaromana did well in the 200m freestyle and so did Isabella Alvear in the 100m backstroke.  Nice job ladies!

Congratulations Girls Varsity Soccer: On Tuesday the team defeated Lindenhurst by a score of 3-1. Ella Brower opened the scoring off a corner kick. Olivia Delpriore and Iris Hoffman each scored their first varsity goals to finish the scoring. The defense of Julianna Villella, Mareena Erfan, Kayla McCan, Anna Keller, and Kallie Eichner played solid.  Great job girls!

Congratulations JV Football: The Team improved its record to 2-0 by defeating Bay Shore 8-6 and Ward Melville 13-7.  Great job Wildcats!

Congratulations JV Girls Soccer: The Team played a solid game with a 2-0 victory against Lindenhurst.  Alexa Schindler led the team with a powerful break to goal, putting the ball in the back of the net. Grace Davis and Abigail LaRegina controlled the midfield while Katie Guttler & Courtney Magee helped hold together the defense. Emma Galdamez added another goal to finalize the win. Goalie, Vanessa Reyes protected the net to earn a shutout.


Congratulations Girls Cross Country: The Team defeated Hills East yesterday by the score of 19-43. All team members should be proud of their collective efforts in producing another win where each girl was able to perform at a very high and spirited level. Congrats girls. Great work!

Congratulations Girls JV Volleyball: The Team defeated Northport 2 sets to 1 and improved to 5-2. Emma Creighton led the way with 8 kills, while Sophia Swanson and Lorianna Mattutat were dominant at the net. Strong serving from Anastasia Novinski and Megan Rankel helped seal the victory. Great come from behind victory!

Congratulations JV Field Hockey: The Team beat Lindenhurst Tuesday night, 8-0. Angela Shedlow and Nayira Kabarajian both scored one goal! Brooke Connor and Bella Winch scored 3 goals each! Victoria Hocknell had two assists and Katie Donovan, Emma Donovan, Nayira Kabarajian, and Bella Winch each had one assist! Great job, girls! Keep up the great work!


Congratulations Boys Varsity Volleyball:  The Team swept Connetquot yesterday 3-0.  Tom Biryla had 15 kills, 7 digs and 1 block.  Tyler Phillips earned “player of the game” honors with 9 kills, 10 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 assist. Great job boys!

Congratulations Girls Varsity Swimming:  The Team defeated Bay Shore yesterday 99-84.  Senior captain Emily Teplansky led all scorers, winning the 50m Freestyle, the 500m Freestyle and the Medley Relay.  Aby Velasquez swam the 100m Butterfly and scored points on the relay team as well.  Venus Stewart won the Diving competition.  Isabella Alvear swam a personal best in the Backstroke.  Bianca Santaromana  placed 2nd in the 100m Freestyle.  Haeleigh Murray and Olivia Beck contributed to the 200m Freestyle relay.  Nice job ladies!

Congratulations Varsity Golf:  The Team picked up its 2nd victory yesterday against Hills East 6-3.  Seniors Kyle Dickson, Riley Wager and Julia Posillico all earned match points on the challenging Bethpage Blue course. The lowest score of the match was shot by Julia Posillico beating her opponent by 11 strokes. Julia's performance was essential in the team securing 3 team points, beating the Thunderbirds by 2 strokes.  Outstanding performance.  Go Wildcats!

Congratulations Girls Varsity Soccer:  Yesterday, the Team defeated Bay Shore by a score of 4-0.  Iris "the scoring machine" Hoffman continued her scoring streak by netting 2 goals.  Lizzie Schreiber and Olivia Delpriore each added 1.  Ella Brower and Brittny Cisneros Campos each had assists.  Ashli Wuss made 4 saves to secure the shutout.  Great job girls!
