The Walt Whitman Varsity Boys Basketball had a competitive shortened season. The team came out to play each and every day, led by junior Michael Phillips and senior Omari Harry. Despite ending the season with a 1-4 record, the hard work and enthusiasm the players brought to the court made it a successful season. Each player got a chance to show their impact on the team as well as figure out what is needed for them to succeed individually. Our bench was anchored by the one and only junior Wayde O'Brien, inspiring his fellow teammates what it is to cherish an opportunity and be the best ‘you’ for everyone. This season was very effective in progressing the development of the program. We want to wish seniors Omari Harry and Jeremiah Wharton well wishes and great luck for their future. Once a Wildcat always a Wildcat!
