It is my distinct pleasure to be able to welcome you to Walt Whitman High School, home of the Wildcats. Whether as a returning member of the student body, or an incoming freshman, I believe that students will have every opportunity to make this educational journey their own and build lasting relationships with peers, faculty, and the surrounding community. The programs, classes, and overall opportunities provided will have a lasting effect and afford students with the resources necessary to be successful in all of their endeavors. Please take the time to look throughout our website as it will serve as a valuable resource for students, parents, and community members. Our site provides a whole host of important information such as daily announcements, exam schedules, course offerings, guidance information, and information regarding upcoming school events.

While award ceremonies take on new and technical formats, it is important to recognize the incredible work of our students from throughout the school year. The Town Of Huntington produced a virtual awards ceremony for the Hunting-Tony Awards for plays produced during Fall 2019. This year, Clue was nominated for Best Technical Production, Best crew, Best Ensemble and Best Play!
