Welcome to our Countrywood Primary Center family, where a positive school climate sets the stage for a strong academic experience. At Countrywood, we pride ourselves on educating the whole child; focusing on the academics while also ensuring that the social and emotional needs of each child is met. In addition to learning literacy, mathematics, science and social studies skills, students are exposed to hands-on learning through technology and STEAM activities as we prepare students for the 21st century and beyond. Throughout all activities, students develop social and leadership skills that will help them successfully navigate through the school setting and life. Countrywood is home to over 600 students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade with approximately 100 staff members ensuring a "First Class Experience." Faculty and support staff encourage a strong home-school partnership, believing that we must work together to create self-confident life-long learners who are provided the necessary supports to reach their potential. Throughout the school year, our staff focuses on growing our students through Character Education, Personal Safety and Conflict Resolution, while our wonderful PTA supports these initiatives through assemblies to reinforce these themes. We look forward to becoming a second home for your child, as they strive to reach their personal best in a safe and nurturing environment.
