The Great Pumpkin Hunt
Hundreds upon hundreds of pumpkins patiently waited to find their perfect match recently at Oakwood and Countrywood Primary Centers. It was as though the back fields of both schools turned to pumpkin patches overnight, anticipating a beautiful morning to be had by students and staff.
Kindergarteners through second graders emptied onto the fields to find the perfect pumpkin. Smiles radiated from their faces as they sprinted from friend to friend, proud with their pumpkins in hand. Teachers and staff joined in on the fun, and did the hard work of bringing the pumpkin patch to life as they strategically placed the small orange squashes around the fields to be found by eager pumpkin hunters.
