Congratulations to Katelyn Adams on earning Athlete of the Month for October 2022! Katelyn is a sophomore gymnast on Walt Whitman’s Varsity Team. This Fall, Kate qualified as one of the top athletes in her event and competed in the Section XI Individual Championships at Connetquot. Kate competed in the vault alongside top gymnasts in Suffolk County and came in 19th place. Way to go Kate!
Congratulations to Colin Murphy on earning Athlete of the Month for October 2022! Colin is a senior golfer at Walt Whitman High School who represented Whitman to the rest of Suffolk County in the Section XI Individual County Championships. Colin had a great season and in October, took to the Spring Lake Course in the Golf Championship Finals to take 20th Place overall. Congratulations Colin!
