Walt Whitman's Centerstage Production: Love of a Pig District

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Walt Whitman’s fall production of Love of a Pig! Whitman’s cast and crew had a great weekend of performances in early November, showcasing the talents within the high school theater program. Love of a Pig portrays the story of Jenny, a violinist, and her ongoing search for love. On stage our actors did a magnificent job weaving in humor, wit, and energy into the storytelling that kept audiences engaged in the unique tale. This play by Leslie Caveny is non-traditional in its presentation in that several actors intentionally play multiple roles and pantomime was used in lieu of real props in many cases. This was the writer's preference and Whitman’s actors remained true to her vision in this production. Congratulations and bravo to all on a job well done!
