We are thrilled to have completed a successful Wildcat Summer Camp 2021! Both our campers and counselors were ecstatic to be able to spend another summer together as camps resumed for the first time since the pandemic. Campers took advantage of each session, whether it was playing sports outdoors or conducting fun coding and design projects in the classrooms.

Wildcat Sports Camp ran its typical four-week sessions, offering a variety of activities for our young campers. From lacrosse, field hockey, soccer and badminton in weeks 1 and 2, to cheerleading, football, basketball and baseball in weeks 3 and 4, each week offered our campers plenty of options to play and learn new skills in a variety of sports. It was a full summer long of recreational activities for our youngest campers, including gaga, group games, and the highly anticipated weekly visit from the Huntington Manor Fire Department for fire truck Fridays, keeping our campers cool on those hot days. It was wonderful to see the smiles on our Wildcat campers as they had fun amongst friends.

Our Coding and Design camp was equally as exciting as it provided campers with opportunities for exercising their creativity. Campers had hands-on experience coding and designing, whether it be with Lego Wedo and BricQ Kits, or building online games using programs such as CoffeeScript and Scratch. They gained hands-on experience with electronics all summer long, where they were able to create cool projects like FM radios, digital voice, burglar alarms, doorbells, and much more using Snap Circuits ® .

Keeping our kids engaged throughout the summer through physical activities and technology learning made the time fly by! We are grateful to have been able to open our doors and our fields to our kids for another successful summer of Wildcat camps!

Wildcat Sports Campers had four weeks worth of fun where they took to the high school's turf field for games, drills, and more.

Fire Truck Fridays, thanks to the Huntington Manor Fire Department, kept all of our campers cool on the especially hot summer days.

One of the many projects by our Coding and Design campers included Lego creations that explored the possibilities of programming using Lego Wedo and Lego BricQ Kits.

We'll see you next summer!!
