It has been an exciting baseball season as both the New York Mets and New York Yankees have had a great showing this year. We have been very fortunate to have the ability to create the first ever South Huntington “Subway Series” Family Day, allowing our community members to be a part of this excitement.
South Huntington Community members attended the first game of the Subway Series on July 26th and had the opportunity to stand on the warning track during the performance of the National Anthem. Our South Huntington families were excited to see Citi Field from a new perspective and enjoy the game on the beautiful summer evening. The Mets took the win, ending the exciting first game 6-3 over the Yankees. Nonetheless, it was a great night to be a New York baseball fan and South Huntington Community member.
We look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come!
