Thank you to everyone who joined us on this special evening of holiday cheer and celebration!

At a recent Board of Education Meeting, the community came together to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the South Huntington School District. The occasion was commemorated at the December 11th Board meeting at Maplewood Intermediate School with a musical presentation and a celebratory cake with an appreciation of the progress made in these 95 years. The evening began with Ms. Melillo and her 5th grade Choir who performed a number of holiday songs to get parents and spectators into the spirit of the season. After the heart-warming presentation, Board of Education President Nicholas Ciappetta proudly shared the Town of Huntington Proclamation commemorating the rich 95-year history of our district. The celebratory cake was cut thereafter and was enjoyed by all before attending to the regular business meeting.
