The 32nd Annual Wildcat Marching Band Awards Banquet was held recently at Walt Whitman High School for the marching band community to enjoy. This special evening is a way of saying thank-you to all the dedicated and talented students, staff, and parents by recognizing their collective accomplishments of the season.

Hosted by the band parents, the banquet was attended by marching band staff, students, parents, school and district administration. Everyone in attendance enjoyed an evening of celebration with a delicious dinner, dancing with friends, Marching Band Yearbook signing, and special recognition. After dessert, students, staff, and parents headed to the Performing Arts Center for the anticipated awards presentation.

Everyone enjoyed video montages, reminiscing on a great season and feeling all sorts of appreciation for the hard work that lead to this special celebration. Each student received an award for participation based on the cumulative number of years in the program and students with high academic markings were recognized with the Minds on the March award.
