ArtAbility, Long Island’s Largest Special Needs Art Show, was recently hosted at the Spirit of Huntington Art Center located on Melville Road at South Huntington’s old library. There were over 150 pieces of art for sale, produced in collaboration with the event’s contributing sponsors, where 70% of the proceeds go to the artists and 30% are donated to charity. The Spirit of Huntington Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes creative expression can transform the lives of students with special needs and Veterans by igniting passion in their lives.  It was heartwarming to see our artists with special needs be showcased at this public venue and have their artwork be viewed for our community to see their incredible talents.

Thank you to our South Huntington artists for creating and contributing such beautiful pieces for our community to see and appreciate:

Alvin Yam, Andrew Avila, Andrew French, Danny Sgaraglio, Devin French, Edward Nitkewicz, Erika Lopez, John Williams, Joshua Ramtahal, Justice McCarthy-Delk, Kyle Freedman Avena, Ryan Raskin, Summer Hayes, Timothy Gudaitis, Vanisha Taylor, and Harrison Dearstyne.
