Silas Wood was host to Hollyrock Entertainment’s Brain Challenge, a fun interactive program that gets both students and teachers moving, thinking, and having fun. The Brain Challenge Game Show includes questions as a review of what students are learning based on their grade level. The program tests students’ abstract thoughts, math and spelling skills, and even presents physical challenges that test the students’ listening skills. Our Silas Wood students answered questions, competed in hula-hoop and Simon Says, and an intense game of tug of war to gain points for their team. Outlandish questions were asked to keep students on their toes and laughing as they played along. Each challenge is meant to be carried out as a team, teaching our students the importance of team-work and good sportsmanship while also providing interactive ways to learn and have fun at the same time.
