Walt Whitman High School had four superstars selected to perform in the 2019 SCMEA All County Jazz Festival this weekend. Freshmen Jordan Badalamenti (alto), Emily Rollman (soprano), Julia Crapanzano (soprano), and Natalia Lutz (alto) performed in the Vocal Jazz Ensemble held at East Islip High School this weekend to a packed house and thunderous applause. Emily Rollman was also a featured scat/vocal improvisational soloist. The four joined their former chorus teacher from Stimson Middle School, Miss Orlando, who co chaired the festival.
