Great job to our Wildcats on a notable State performance!

Walt Whitman High School hosted the US Bands NY State Championships on Sunday, October 20th. Bands from across New York State joined us to compete in South Huntington where they each did a phenomenal job and made all of their schools proud. Despite the rain, the Walt Whitman High School Marching Band took first place for the fifth year in a row with a score of 83.99 for their show Mozart Remixed. It was a challenge dodging raindrops and staying dry, but our Wildcats prevailed. Congratulations to our Marching Band on another great performance!
