Silas Wood is honored to participate for a 2nd year in Start With Hello, a program offered by Sandy Hook Promise which is a national, nonprofit organization based in Newtown, Connecticut led by several family members whose loved ones were lost in the tragedy at Sandy Hook School in 2012. Start With Hello is a program that teaches children how to be more socially inclusive and connected to each other through a variety of activities. Students and staff took part in creating outlines of their hands and writing pledges on how to be more accepting and inclusive within them.

Like last year, Team 4 created a movie encompassing this idea of inclusivity. Matt Glassberg was instrumental in directing and creating the production and the team was played a huge role in helping to organize this and make it a reality.  This year's video is incredible! Mr. Glassberg was able to create a story that really embraces the importance and impact of "saying hello."
