| Introduction:
You all want your own car, but let's say that your parents don't want to pay for it. You will research the cost of buying a car, financing it, and finding out how much the insurance will cost you. Then you will report on which car you have chosen and why. |

| Task:
Pick out two different model cars and go to their websites. Using the websites, customize the new cars that you want and price them out. Make sure that the cars have all the options that you want in them. Then you will research the insurance premiums for at least two companies for each car. |

| Process:
1) Find information on how to buy a car. This includes negotiation of price, and how to decide what car is best for you and your needs. |

| 2) Choose two cars that you like and the options
that you have to have with each. Determine the cost, including taxes,
for both cars that you choose. Make sure that there is a warranty
included in the cost. Many times you have to pay extra for that.
This is also a determining factor in your decision about which car to choose.

| 3) Find out how much you could get for your trade
in. If you don't own a car now, pick the oldest car that your parents

determine your monthly payment using the payment calculator.

| 5) Now comes the depressing part. You have
to figure out how much the insurance is going to cost you. I want
you to figure out how much the insurance will cost you monthly.

This is how I will grade you on this project. Reread the process part of the quest and see that you have included the following: 1) Describe the steps in choosing a car, using the information from the sites I referenced for you 2) Cost on 2 cars, including tax. Don't forget the warranty information. 3) Full description of each car and the options you chose 4) Write the steps you used to determine your monthly payment 5) How did you chose which insurance company to use for each car? What coverage do you have for each? 6) Now determine how much your car payment and insurance will cost you per month for each car. 7) Choose which car you would like to buy and tell me why, in detail. |
