I: Select Topic. Select

V: Develop an Outline.

gathered the information, it is time to organize it.
1. A good Harvard
outline will make writing your paper much easier.
2. It should be as
detailed as possible.
3. When you are finished
with your outline, your paper is basically written.
VI: Final Paper.
A. Write your final
paper 3-5 pages.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
A mandatory research
paper has been assigned to your child. The research paper is due
on Tuesday April 23rd. Included is a checklist for you and your child
to review while working on the paper to make sure they receive all deserved
points. Please sign and cut off the bottom portion for your child
to return to me. Save the top portion for your use. Your child has
also received an extensive research Guide to assist them during this project.
*My paper includes a Title Page; stating my name, the topic of my paper, class title, Mrs. Bolger’s name and the date.
*My paper includes a THESIS STATEMENT. I am simply answering the question of my research topic in a clear, concise, statement. The remainder of my paper will be answering this question in more detail.
*My paper includes citations. I received my information from other sources and I must give credit to those people. I cited quotes as well as any paraphrasing. If I do not give credit for these ideas, it is considered plagiarism and I will fail.
*My paper is double spaced, size 12 font, readable font, and one- inch borders. It is a minimum of five typed pages and I expect to lose points if it is less.
*My paper includes a typed bibliography page.
*My paper will lose 10 points for every day that it is late and will not be accepted after Monday April 30th.
*I kept an extra copy. It is my responsibility if the paper is lost to replace it.
