The Board of Education and administration embarked on the Vision 2020 initiative in order to improve the District's facilities and continue its impressive academic progress.  While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the community's decision and thank the over 4,200 residents who voted on Monday.  We also appreciate all of those who shared our passion for this initiative and the tireless work of many who participated in the process. Now that the votes have been counted, the Board of Education will analyze the results, reflect on the feedback that has been received, and consider all of the options to address the needs of the District.  Additionally, the Board of Education and administration will continue to act in the best interests of the District's 5,900 students, seek new ways to foster further academic growth, and fight for increased State aid.
