It is hard to believe that it has been 18 years since the terror attacks of September 11th, 2001. In remembrance of our fallen heroes, Countrywood and Oakwood Primary Centers hold a ceremony each year to honor those who lost their lives on that fateful day. The flag is set to half-staff and a moment of silence is taken as memories of that day are recollected. While we are seeing generations of children with a historical perspective of this day, we are sure to continue honoring the thousands who lost their lives in order to embrace their loving memory.
