Walt Whitman senior Desiree Kleberg has signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Quinnipiac University next fall. The transformation from Wildcat to Bobcat should be an easy one for this three-sport athlete. Desiree just finished her fall volleyball season and is working hard at making another strong start for her Lady Wildcat Basketball team. Emily Murray, last year’s new Assistant Coach for Girls Lacrosse is now Head Coach and has been impressed with her senior midfielder who ended last season with 40 goals and 10 assists and will begin her 4th season on the varsity squad this spring. “Desiree is an extremely talented player and displays leadership qualities on and off the lacrosse field,” Murray told us. “She sets a great example for the younger student-athletes in our program and community."

Way to Go Desiree!
