Seniors Megan Neumann and Maxwell Fisher highlight their senior year with a phenomenal achievement.

Seniors Megan Neumann and Maxwell Fisher have been selected to the NAfME All-National Honor Ensembles (ANHE) representing the top performing high school musicians in the United States. Both of these highly talented students first had to make the NY All-State groups (NYSSMA) in order to be eligible for this phenomenal achievement, which selects only the very best from each state. The Nationals will be held November 25-28, 2018, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida

Senior Megan Neumann feels honored to be able to play the bassoon at the Nationals. Megan is currently looking at different programs to continue pursuing music with hopes of playing professionally in an orchestra after graduating this spring.  Max Fisher is a senior competing in Nationals for his voice. Max has loved to sing ever since he was a child and believes that this competition will be a great experience to share his passion with people across the nation. As a senior, he is interested in attending Princeton to study speech pathology and English with a minor in dance. For Max, this award shows his development as a musician and he appreciates the countless opportunities Walt Whitman has presented to him to help him grow and succeed.
