Spotlight on our Staff from Personnel Administrator Frank Fallon as featured in the Superintendents Weekly Newsletter:

This column has highlighted so many of the people who have made this district special.  This week’s focus is on a teacher new to South Huntington. Robert Brew is a fourth-grade teacher at Maplewood Intermediate School. He began his career in the Rockville Center School District, where he was named Teacher of the Year at his elementary school. However, seeing that his wife had a career opportunity in the South, Rob and his family relocated and he immediately received another teaching position, where he again distinguished himself as a Master Teacher.

Rob and his family planned to move back to Long Island, and he applied to South Huntington. Given his history of achievement as a teacher, glowing references from colleagues and administrators, and an outgoing personality, Rob rose above many others applying for the position.

A visit to his class affirms why he has been so successful with elementary students. His humor, human relations skills, and dedication to teaching are evident. The class environment is positive, and the students in his class seem eager to learn.

Welcome to South Huntington, Rob!
