Henry L. Stimson Middle School was recently honored by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) as one of their 2017-2018 ‘No Place for Hate’ schools. This award recognizes Stimson Middle School as a place where students, educators, administrators, and family members work together to combat prejudice and enhance a culture of respect in the school community.

“Hosting events, like our highly successful ‘Heart of Huntington’ Diversity Summit,’ allowed students to appreciate each other's similarities while embracing their differences,” said Stimson Administrative Dean Mr. Steven Kellerman who, along with Stimson teacher Mike DePaula, coordinated the ADL Program.  “Conducting events that promote anti-bullying, diversity, and positive interaction all work towards promoting intergroup harmony.”

Way to Go Stimson School Community!
