The fifth-grade students of Michelle Gruttadauria, Kristen Tohill, Eileen Campbell, and Ilyssa Polirer have collaborated with author/illustrator, Paul Rodriguez “Rodro” to illustrate a special version of ‘The Magical Song of Sona and Dora.’ This book is about two Coquís (tiny tree frogs) from Sonadora, Puerto Rico, who go out in search of the magic that will save their lives.

Paul Rodriguez wrote this story in honor of the memory of his grandfather Ignacio Baez who was from Sonadora, Puerto Rico. This remarkable range of fifth-grade students generously agreed to share their unique vision and artistic talents to create this book as a fundraiser for families and children in Puerto Rico.

The book is available to purchase at Amazon.com. All proceeds from this special version of the book will be donated to assist families in desperate need of medical equipment and home repairs. Please consider buying a copy to support this worthy cause!
