National Italian Language Exam Winners

We are very proud of our Italian language students at Walt Whitman High School who did an amazing job representing our school at the National Italian High School Contest Exam 2018.

More than 5,000 students participated in the exam this year and nearly 1,500 received medals for their outstanding performance on the 2018 National Italian Exam. AATI honored 118 students with Gold Medals while 475 students received Silver Medals and 904 students were awarded Bronze Medals. We would like to thank all of the participants and congratulate all of the following winners: 

Level 2: Bronze Medal: Daniel DiLeo, Sindy Garcia, and Daniela Santoiemma. Honorable Mention: Sophia Delpriore, Isabella Delfico, Elisa Hustedt, Julia Posillico,  Vincent Santoiemma and Juliana Villella

Level 3: Silver Medal: Jeremy Forman. Honorable Mention: Gerardo Barraza, Yoseline Gonzalez-Contreras, Jake Lang, Tyler Meyer, Katherine Miata, Logan Slansky, Stephen Verderame, Christopher Arthur, Madison Fulcher and Gabriella Mingin

Level 4: Silver Medal: Rosa Portillo. Bronze Medal: Hasna Naseer. Honorable Mention:  Andrew Borges, Robert Posillico, Anna Scortichini and  Stephanie Young
