The Stimson Boys Track and Field team did an excellent job against some of the best schools on Long Island this past Saturday, May 5th at the annual Elks Invitational at Comsewogue High School.  A great day was had by all and the team hopes that this success will continue into the rest of the regular season. Overall the team came back with 2 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal! Richard Ratchford won the gold in the Long Jump with a jump of 15'6". Jack Fallon won the gold in the 1600M with a time of 5:15.3. The 4 X 100M Relay team comprised of Captain Anthony Collado, Lens Jean-Pierre, Joseph Tonna, and Eric Quintanilla Flores won the silver with a time of 53.9. Daniel Muccini won the silver medal in the Long Jump with a distance of 15'4". Anthony Collado won silver in the 55M with a time of 7.82 and Joseph Tonna won the bronze medal in the 400M with a time of 60.1 seconds.

Coaches Vasken Kazandjian and Ray Eatmon are extremely proud of the sportsmanship of this hardworking group of 8th graders and had another great day at this terrific event.
