The Stimson Middle School Girls Track team competed in the Elk’s Invitational on Saturday, May 5th against Long Island’s top schools.  Earning 1st place and a Gold medal in the 3000-meter run was 7th grader Liana Dreusike with a time of 13:19.   In the High Jump, Shanoyah Newell earned a 3rd place finish and bronze medal with a jump of 4’ 2’’.  Mikaya Person earned a 3rd Place finish and Bronze medal in the 100m dash. The 4 x 100 relay team comprised of Marie St. Charles, Alexandra Garden, Shanoya Newell and Mikaya Person earned a Second place finish and Silver medal.

It was a great day for all our track athletes and coaches Chris Cardella and Rory Sherman were very proud of their great efforts!
