Congratulations Girls Varsity Badminton- We hear from Coach Scott Wolff that the Girls Varsity Badminton team defeated Smithtown West yesterday 7-2. This is their 9th win in a row as they remain unbeaten in league play. Maelyn Latko and Lauren Brown won the 50th game in their amazing careers at 1st doubles. That is the most wins in that position in Whitman history. Other outstanding performers were Katherine Gotard and Anna Scortichini in singles.

Coach Mike Moccia is happy to report that congratulations are in order for his Boys Badminton team. Yesterday they defeated Smithtown West by a score of 8-1, improving its overall record to 7-3. Singles winners included Vishal Rattu, Michael Zimmerman, Robby Seebach and Jonathan Aziz. Doubles winners included the pairs of Josh Friedman and Jack Anest, Matt Kaputa and Robert Leonick, Ashar Farooq and Aamash Mussa, and Sergio Licona and Nick Cerrito. Great Win Boys!
