Via a letter from New York’s Attorney General Mr. Eric Schneiderman, two sixth-grade students at Silas Wood received this year’s Triple “C” Award. “Through the Triple 'C' Award, I hope to encourage young citizens to excel and fulfill their potential,” said the Attorney General. “Encouragement from educators and parents develops enthusiasm for learning and a desire to work hard, study, and achieve.” Congratulations to Robert Gurr and Deijah Harris, two exceptional young students who were the winners of this year’s Triple “C” Award. Silas Wood also had five Triple “C” finalists: Steven Ramirez, Michael Bronson, Moira Eaches, Cayleigh Delgado, and Brittany Shaneberger.
