Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse came up short in a very well played hard fought game against a tough Connetquot team. It was a complete team effort for the Lady Wildcats. Excellent all around defense and goalkeeping kept Whitman in the game throughout. Goals were scored by Desiree Kleberg, Shannon Polk, and Kristin Finnerty. Jessica Vesque had 9 saves. The team never once gave up. The coaches are very proud. The girls continue to improve and are home again on Tuesday, April 17th when they go up against Lindenhurst at 4:45.
