Congratulations to Girls Varsity Basketball for their 69 to 38 win over Bay Shore last Friday night.  Four girls scored in double figures in a balanced offensive attack.  Meghan Soulias scored a game-high 19 points, Desiree Kleberg added 15, and Danielle Kleet scored 11.  But the player of the game was Leatrice Brown.  Leatrice, the only senior on the team, was honored before the game and opened the scoring right away with 7 first quarter points.  Great job Leatrice!  The girls are now 9 and 3 in League play and have a 1st round playoff game tonight, February 16th.  The team will play Sachem East in Sachem High School at 5:45 PM.
