We hear from Stimson’s girl’s volleyball coach Mike Patto that the team has had a productive season. “The team is full of players who work hard and set positive examples for their teammates,” said coach Patto. “This unit has great chemistry and they will only get better in the future.” Captains Amelia Kongevold, Brianna Morrissey, and Desiree Alvarez have been great role models and have helped teach their less experienced teammates how the game is played. First-year players Alexandra Fink and Haley Sahadeo have improved tremendously and are among the top offensive players on the team. The future is bright for South Huntington volleyball.
