While the South Huntington Schools excel in a variety of athletic, artistic, and cultural endeavors, the foundation of our district is grounded in an unwavering commitment to scholastic achievement. Quality teaching and enlightened learning serve as the cornerstones of our daily mission, and we embrace the opportunity to share programs and strategies with the members of our learning family. To this end, we have initiated a series of presentations, which highlight a different academic department at Board of Education meetings throughout the year. We have been privileged thus far to hear the good news from our English and Social Studies teams, and you can find copies of those presentations on the district’s website. At our most recent Board of Education meeting, our Math Department shared their strategies, programs, and people that will comprise their continued climb to excellence. A special thank you to our Math Lab teachers and regular Math teachers from all grade levels who attended the presentation and showed their support.
