The boy’s volleyball lost a tough match against Northport Monday night 3 sets to 2, but rebounded nicely and beat East Islip 3-0 in their final regular season game of the year on Wednesday evening. Despite the loss to Northport the team made a strong push at the end of their season and hopes to clinch a playoff berth for the first time since 2013. Senior captains Robby Seebach, Josh Friedman, & Sean Williams have played huge roles throughout the season. Junior captain and 3-year varsity starter Jack Poplawski has continued to consistently produce offensively. "This is a great senior class and you will all be missed next year," added proud Varsity Coach Mike Patto. In addition to the senior captains mentioned above, Jack Anest, Michael Bronson, Hunter Eichner, Ryan King, Griffin McNally, Craig Stockfeder, Cliff Sweezey, and Jonathan Lew have made their coach and their teammates proud all year. In the East Islip win, Jack Anest had 7 kills and 1 block and Robby Seebach had 22 assists, 3 digs, 1 kill, and 7 aces. The Wildcats will travel to Eastport South Manor for a 4PM Playoff match on Thursday, November 2nd.

Congratulations Wildcats and welcome back to the Playoffs!
