News just out of the U.S.A. National Men’s Lacrosse three-day camp at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., is that Whitman’s own Myles Jones has been selected to represent our Nation in the FIL Men’s World Championship that will be held in Netanya, Israel in July 2018.

The team will now return to US Lacrosse for a training weekend over this Labor Day Weekend and then have two more competitions leading up the world championship. The Team USA Fall Classic will be held at US Lacrosse on the weekend of Oct. 6-9 and the team will play in the Team USA Spring Premiere in Florida in early January.

Myles currently plays MLL for the Chesapeake Bayhawks and will be hosting his Dodging and Shooting Clinic on August 2nd at The Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, MD. Playing in the first All-Star Game of his career on July 8th, Myles scored the game-winning goal in overtime, helping Team Stripes beat Team Stars in the 16th MLL All-Star Game, 21-20, at Papa Murphy's Park in Sacramento, CA. He was named MVP of the All-Star game, scoring 4 goals and 1 assist.
