Preston Park, who will be attending Birchwood Intermediate School in the fall, won TWO GOLD medals and ONE SILVER medal at 2017 USA Tae Kwon Do National Championships held in Detroit, Michigan from June 30th to July 6th, 2017.

Preston competed in all three events (Olympic style sparring, WTF Individual Male Poomsae (Form) and Board Breaking) for his division (8~9 year olds black belt division), and on July 5th, Preston won the Gold in Black Belt Board Breaking (broke all 30 pine boards within three minutes). On July 6th, Preston won the Gold in Black Belt WTF Individual Male Poomsae (FORM) and then went on to win the Silver in Black Belt Olympic Style Sparring).

Preston trains with Grand Master Woosang Jung more than 25 hours per week at Jung’s Ultimate Tae Kwon Do of Commack. Preston will proudly represent the United States in the World Tae Kwon Do Federation 2017 President’s Cup International Tae Kwon Do Championships in Las Vegas, USA from October 4th ~ October 8th, 2017.
