Donations go directly to assist disabled and hospitalized veterans.
On Memorial Day and Veterans Day, millions of red crepe paper poppies—all handmade by veterans as part of their therapeutic rehabilitation—are distributed across the country in exchange for donations that go directly to assist disabled and hospitalized veterans in our communities.

Ms. Fischer's second grade class at Countrywood thought it was a great experience to learn valuable life lessons about their country.

In honor of Memorial Day, Ms. Fischer's second-grade class at Countrywood had a Korean War Veteran come in to talk about his experience and the importance of Memorial Day. Mr. Myrovitch answered the student's questions and spoke with them about the importance of honoring veterans. It was a great experience for the students to learn many valuable life lessons about their country.
