2017 Wildcat Summer Camps

The South Huntington School District offers a variety of summer camps for students entering grades K-8. The 2017 Wildcat Summer Camps are open for registration. Use the following link for ALL of your summer fun, right here in South Huntington.

Please note that some of our summer camps are half-day programs and can be combined with The Wildcat Sports Camp to make it a full-day program experience!

For 2017, all programs are held at Walt Whitman High School, 301 West Hills Rd unless otherwise noted.

Our programs include:

Wildcat Coding Camp-Minds of The Future: Open to students entering grades 1-6, this program introduces students to the basics of computer science by means of coding/programming. Coders will explore various coding websites, programs, and interact with Dash and Dot Robots, as well as Code-A-Pillar and Osmo.

NEW-Wildcat Coding Camp-Minds of The Future 2: Open to students entering grades 7-8, this program introduces students to Python and the NAO Robots. Coders will explore various coding websites, programs, and interact with the 3D printer.

Wildcat Sports Camp: Open to students entering grades K-8, this program offers a variety of sports and activities for all boys and girls. Activities included are:  Flag Football / Cheerleading / Baseball / Softball /Boys and Girls Lacrosse/Soccer Recreation / Ultimate Frisbee / Bowling/ Wrestling / Track & Field / Field Hockey / Fencing / Tennis / Golf. Wildcat Kids ‘A-Cat-emy’ is part of Wildcat Sports Camp and it is open to students entering grades K-2, this program introduces students to a variety of recreational sports such as basketball, soccer, and kickball.  

Out of District Campers are always welcome!
